Alex Lawther, né le 4 mai 1995 à Winchester, Hampshire, est un acteur, écrivain et réalisateur anglais. Révélé au théâtre avec le rôle de John Blakemore dans South Downs (2011), il accède à la célébrité en incarnant le jeune Alan Turing dans The Imitation Game (2014), récompensé par le London Film Critics' Circle Award du Young British Performer of the Year. Il brille ensuite dans X+Y (2014), Departure (2015), Freak Show (2017), l'épisode "Shut Up and Dance" de Black Mirror (2016) et comme Leonard Bast dans Howards End (2017). Célèbre pour James dans The End of the F***ing World (2017-2019), il rejoint Star Wars avec le rôle de Karis Nemik dans Andor (2022) et incarne Joe Hermit dans Alien: Earth (2025), série préquelle FX/Hulu.
