Nicholas King Nolte, né le 8 février 1941, est un acteur américain. Connu pour ses rôles principaux dans des drames et des comédies romantiques, il a reçu un Golden Globe Award et a été nominé trois fois aux Oscars et une fois aux Primetime Emmy Awards. Nolte s'est d'abord fait connaître pour son rôle dans la mini-série Rich Man, Poor Man (1976) diffusée sur ABC, qui lui a valu une nomination aux Primetime Emmy Awards dans la catégorie Meilleur acteur dans une mini-série ou un téléfilm. Il a remporté le Golden Globe Award du meilleur acteur dans un film dramatique pour Le Prince des marées (1991).
