D'après Wikipédia, l'encyclopédie libre Jane Withers (12 avril 1926 – 7 août 2021) était une actrice, mannequin et chanteuse américaine. Débutant une carrière prolifique dès l'âge de 3 ans, elle a reçu le Young Artist Award – Former Child Star « Lifetime Achievement Award ». Elle est surtout connue pour avoir été l'une des enfants stars les plus populaires des années 1930 et du début des années 1940, ainsi que pour son rôle de « Josephine la plombière » dans une série de publicités télévisées pour le nettoyant Comet dans les années 1960 et au début des années 1970. Elle est probablement surtout connue pour avoir incarné l'odieuse Joy Smythe dans le film Bright Eyes, où elle partageait l'affiche avec Shirley Temple.
