Frederick Bean « Tex » Avery (26 février 1908 – 26 août 1980) était un animateur et réalisateur américain, connu pour avoir produit et réalisé des dessins animés pendant l'âge d'or de l'animation américaine. Son travail le plus important a été réalisé pour les studios Warner Bros. et Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, où il a joué un rôle crucial dans la création et l'évolution de personnages animés célèbres tels que Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Elmer Fudd, Droopy, Screwy Squirrel, George et Junior, et Chilly Willy.
