Acteur canadien né le 12 novembre 1980 à London, en Ontario, Ryan Gosling débute dès l'enfance au sein du Mickey Mouse Club avant de décrocher un rôle récurrent dans la série *Hercule contre Arès* (1998). Révélé au grand public en 2004 avec *N'oublie jamais*, il s'impose dans le cinéma indépendant grâce à *Half Nelson* (2006), qui lui vaut une première nomination à l'Oscar du meilleur acteur. Il confirme son statut avec *Drive* (2011) puis enchaîne les collaborations prestigieuses : *La La Land* (2016) de Damien Chazelle, pour lequel il remporte le Golden Globe du meilleur acteur, *Blade Runner 2049* (2017) de Denis Villeneuve et *First Man* (2018). En 2023, son interprétation de Ken dans *Barbie* de Greta Gerwig lui vaut une nomination aux Oscars du meilleur second rôle. Artiste aux multiples facettes, il est également musicien et réalisateur.
