Biographie:

Michael Douglas, né le 25 septembre 1944 à New Brunswick (New Jersey), est un acteur et producteur de cinéma américain. Aîné des quatre fils de l'acteur Kirk Douglas, il commence sa carrière dans les années 1960 et se fait connaître à la télévision grâce à la série policière Les Rues de San Francisco. Il obtient ensuite deux Oscars, le premier en 1976 en tant que producteur pour Vol au-dessus d'un nid de coucou, le second en 1988 en tant qu'acteur pour Wall Street. Parallèlement, il remporte six Golden Globes, dont le Cecil B. DeMille Award en 2004. À partir des années 2010, il prête ses traits à ceux du scientifique Hank Pym dans l'Univers cinématographique Marvel et fait son retour à la télévision, en incarnant notamment le pianiste Liberace dans le téléfilm Ma vie avec Liberace. Depuis 2000, il est l'époux de l'actrice galloise Catherine Zeta-Jones avec laquelle il a deux enfants.
