Biographie:

Eddie Redmayne, né le 6 janvier 1982 à Londres, est un acteur britannique. Diplômé de Cambridge, il débute au théâtre, remportant un Olivier Award pour Red (2010). Il se fait connaître avec Les Misérables (2012) et triomphe en Stephen Hawking dans Une merveilleuse histoire du temps (2014), décrochant l’Oscar du meilleur acteur. Il incarne ensuite Newt Scamander dans la saga Les Animaux fantastiques (2016-2022). Son rôle de Lili Elbe dans The Danish Girl (2015) lui vaut une nouvelle nomination aux Oscars. Égérie Burberry, il est marié à Hannah Bagshawe, avec qui il a deux enfants. Redmayne excelle dans des rôles complexes et variés.
