Nightmare 5 - Il mito (1989)
Alice (Lisa Wilcox) ha un incubo nel quale fa la doccia e viene proiettata, nuda, in un sotterraneo. Poi si ritrova nei panni di suora, come Amanda Krueger, tra cento dementi (tra cui Robert Englund in un cameo senza trucco da Freddy) che la violenteranno dando vita a Freddy. Poi Alice si sveglia. Alla festa del diploma, ritrova il fidanzato Dan (Danny Hassel), al quale rivela l’incubo. Dan la conforta ricordandole che se lei non rimaterializzerà Krueger (Robert Englund) non ci saranno problemi. Ma Alice sogna la nascita di Freddy a opera di Amanda Krueger (Beatrice Boepples). E benché cerchi di impedirlo, è testimone del riformarsi del mostro, che torna in azione più potente di prima. Per sconfiggerlo, Alice dovrebbe trovare i resti di Amanda, nella torre.
