Un uomo qualunque (2007)
Bob Maconel (Christian Slater) è un anonimo impiegato impantanato in un lavoro d'ufficio senza senso, esposto ai soprusi dei colleghi. Ogni giorno si siede alla sua postazione, di un grigiore sconfortante, per essere ignorato da tutti. È semplicemente fuori sincrono rispetto al resto del mondo. Bob Maconel ha però deciso di averne abbastanza, e sogna di porre fine a tutte le ingiustizie subite. Pianifica un piano per vendicarsi definitivamente dei colleghi. Il giorno designato però un altro collega impazzisce e inizia a sparare contro gli impiegati. Preso in contropiede, Bob lo uccide, usando quella stessa pistola che si era portato dietro per la sua personale vendetta. Da quel momento Bob diventa un eroe.
