Betty Love (2000)
Betty è una cameriera di un locale di Kansas City che sogna di fare l'infermiera. Quando suo marito viene ucciso da due spacciatori di droga, rimane scioccata e si convince di essere la fidanzata del dottor Ravell, un personaggio della sua soap opera preferita. Decisa ad incontrarlo, va a Los Angeles per cercare l'ospedale dove lui lavora, poichè non si rende conto che sia l'ospedale, sia il dottore, sono invenzioni televisive. Nel frattempo i due killer del marito la inseguono, per riprendersi la droga che è stata loro rubata.
