C'era una volta in Cina e in America (1997)
So va negli Stati Uniti per aprire una scuola di arti marziali. In quel periodo, molti cinesi erano al soldo delle compagnie ferroviarie statunitensi, ma erano trattati in modo brutale dagli americani, ed in un ambiente di lavoro estremo. Per questo motivo, l'odio degli americani verso gli immigrati cinesi era molto alto. Come risultato, So si trova subito nei guai con la gente e chiama il maestro Wong per avere aiuto.
