Max è uno scrittore freelance di 25 anni e aspirante romanziere che sembra sulla buona strada per il successo nelle sfere culturali di Londra. Eppure, di notte, trova un diverso tipo di esaltazione come lavoratore del sesso con lo pseudonimo Sebastian, incontrando uomini tramite una piattaforma di escort. Max usa le sue esperienze come Sebastian per alimentare le sue storie e il degno romanzo d'esordio che desiderava ardentemente scrivere, sembra finalmente a portata di mano.
