Storia della breve vita tumultuosa, provocatoria, eccentrica, inimitabile di Oscar Wilde, poeta e drammaturgo e, soprattutto, esteta e spirito libero. Adottato dalla buona società londinese finì per subire un clamoroso processo che rivelò pubblicamente la sua omosessualità, considerata non solo riprovevole, ma anche illegale. Dopo un processo, Wilde finì ai lavori forzati nel carcere di Reading.
