Bara con vista (2002)
Boris ama Betty fin dall'infanzia, ma la sua goffaggine gli ha sempre impedito di manifestare il suo sentimento. Così lui, ballerino mancato, ha ereditato l'azienda di pompe funebri di famiglia, mentre lei, sensibile e sentimentale, ha sposato il rozzo sindaco del piccolo paese del Galles dove entrambi vivono. Due fatti sconvolgono questa vita così tranquilla: la morte della suocera di Betty, che rende possibile un suo riavvicinamento all'antico spasimante, e l'apertura di un'altra ditta di pompe funebri gestita da un eccentrico americano Boris progetta di scappare con Betty, inscenando una sua finta morte; ma quando la donna viene a sapere che il marito la tradisce regolarmente da anni con la procace segretaria, decide di fargliela pagare.
