City Hall (1996)
Uno scontro a fuoco con tre morti, tra cui un bambino nero, provoca un'inchiesta che rischia di danneggiare la reputazione di John Pappas, sindaco di New York che vuole diventare governatore. Prima parte apprezzabile a livello descrittivo, ma nell'avvicinarsi ai temi di fondo (l'intreccio tra politica, affari, criminalità) il film s'inceppa per avviarsi a un epilogo impacciato. Il difetto è nella sceneggiatura, alla quale hanno messo mano in quattro. Troppi.
