L'eroe del cielo (1996)
Charlie è segnato da una bizzarra passione per il traffico. Concepito dai genitori sui sedili posteriori della loro vettura bloccata in un gorgo, è poi cresciuto coltivando questa morbosa attrazione per il flusso veicolare: laddove i bambini (per così dire) "normali" guardavano lo sport in tv e si divertivano a collezionare figurine dei propri eroi, il nostro aveva eletto a suo idolo "l'eroe del cielo", il corpulento giornalista che volteggiando su un elicottero presentava il notiziario sulla viabilità. Viene l'adolescenza e sboccia - fortunatamente - una nuova passione, la tenera Amy. I due si innamorano perdutamente, poi - come spesso accade - si perdono di vista... Ma sull'autostrada del destino le due passioni di Charles sono destinate ad uno scontro frontale.
