Il mercante di Venezia (2004)
Per poter corteggiare degnamente la bella Porzia il nobile Bassanio deve chiedere un prestito ad Antonio, il mercante di Venezia. Antonio deve però a sua volta farsi prestare il denaro dall’usuraio ebreo Shylock che, come pegno per la restituzione della cifra, pone l’incredibile condizione di prelevare una libbra di carne dal corpo dell’affascinante Antonio.
