Pink Floyd: The Wall (1982)
In attesa di esibirsi all'ennesimo concerto, Pink, cantante rock tossicodipendente, ripensa agli episodi salienti della sua vita. Un film di guerra trasmesso in tv è l'occasione per questo percorso nella memoria a cavallo fra ricordi e allucinazioni. Diretto da Alan Parker su sceneggiatura dello stesso Waters, Pink Floyd The Wall non ebbe una genesi facile, e del resto accostare due personalità forti come Parker e Waters non poteva non far nascere qualche contrasto. Menzione speciale agli splendidi disegni di Gerald Scarfe, fumettista britannico, responsabile della scenografia e delle animazioni che danno vita ai deliri onirici di Pink.
