Soffocare (2008)
Victor Mancini, uno studente di medicina fallito, ha architettato un sistema piuttosto fantasioso per pagare le cure ospedaliere della sua anziana madre. Tutte le sere Victor si reca in un ristorante diverso, e mentre sta cenando finge di soffocare. Puntualmente qualcuno fa dei tentativi per salvarlo, e immancabilmente diventa quasi un padre adottivo, che periodicamente gli invia del denaro. Quasi tutti i giorni Victor riceve soldi da persone che gli sono grate per aver dato un senso alle proprie vite.
