Piccolo Buddha (1993)
Film a due versanti: da un lato la favola moderna di Jesse, bambino nordamericano di Seattle che, scortato dal padre, è portato dal Lama Norbu nel Bhutan (versante sud dell'Himalaya) perché potrebbe essere il "tulku", la reincarnazione del Lama Dorje, morto otto anni prima; dall'altro la favola antica del principe Siddharta Gautama (ca. 565-486 a.C.) detto il Buddha, il Risvegliato.
