La zingara rossa (1958)
Agli inizi dell'Ottocento sir Paul Deverill, che intende sposare la figlia di un ricco vicino per rimpinguare le sue fortune in via di esaurimento, incontra Belle, una zingara, e se ne innamora follemente. Questa, credendolo ricco, lo induce a lasciare la fidanzata e a sposarla, ma quando si rende conto di come stanno veramente le cose, progetta di rifarsi sulla sorella di Paul, che è in attesa di una cospicua eredità.
