Hindenburg (1975)
Nella primavera del 1937, l'Hinderburg, orgoglio della Germania di Hitler, esplode dopo la sua seconda trasvolata oceanica. Il film, prendendo lo spunto da un libro di Michael M. Mooney, prospetta l'ipotesi dell'attentato da parte di un giovane antinazista, attentato che un colonnello, incaricato da Goebbels di indagare, non riesce a prevenire. Trentacinque persone, delle novantasette che erano a bordo, muoiono nel rogo. Più spettacolare che emozionante, il film è scarso in fatto di "suspence". Di maniera e poco incisiva la tipizzazione dei personaggi. suggestive, invece, le incursioni della macchina da presa nella struttura del dirigibile.
