Quando Anabel aveva espresso il desiderio di avere una fata tutta per sé, mai avrebbe immaginato che la fatina si sarebbe chiamata Murray e che sarebbe stata un uomo! E basta davvero un battibaleno a farle capire che Murray come fata non ha molta esperienza e che la sua capacità di esaudire i desideri lascia molto a desiderare. Travolti da una spassosa girandola di incidenti e incantesimi, Anabel e l'imbranato Murray dovranno liberare il padre della bambina, trasformato per errore in una statua, combattere contro una perfida strega e recuperare le bacchette magiche rubate, in modo da far sì che il mondo ritorni ad essere un luogo dove i semplici desideri possono avverarsi.
