La via del male (1958)
Per racimolare soldi per i suoi studi e per il padre disoccupato, il giovane studente Danny Fisher accetta un lavoro come cantante nel famoso nightclub King Creole. La sua eccezionale bravura viene però notata dal gangster Maxie Fields che lo vuole nel suo locale. Per ingraziarselo, cerca di farlo sedurre dalla bellissima Ronnie, ma Danny è innamorato di un'altra ragazza...
