L'isola misteriosa (1961)
Evasi in pallone, ufficiali nordisti raggiungono signore inglesi naufragate su una strana isola dove sono minacciati da aggressivi mostri preistorici. Arriva in loro soccorso il capitano Nemo, ancorato nei dintorni. Liberamente tratto da un romanzo (1874) di Jules Verne, è un film da vedere per la bellezza ingenua dei trucchi (opera del mago Ray Harryhausen) e dei costumi (scafandri in forma di conchiglie mostruose).
