Diritto di cronaca (1981)
A Miami viene ucciso un sindacalista. La polizia brancola nel buio e per smuovere le acque utilizza Megan Carter, giovane e intraprendente giornalista che si sta interessando al caso. La ragazza, inconsapevolmente, si presta al gioco e finisce per tirare in ballo come possibile omicida un grossista di liquori di nome Michael Gallagher. L'indagine porta al suicidio un'amica di Gallagher, ma il delitto resta un mistero.
