Un paleontologo assetato di celebrità uccide un collega per avere le foto che provano la sopravvivenza, in Africa, di un'ultima generazione di brontosauri. Poi si fa appoggiare da un esercito guerrigliero per catturarne un cucciolo con la madre, ma una sua ex allieva con il marito gli mettono i bastoni tra le ruote.
