Caccia aperta (1976)
Finito in galera per una faccenda di droga (per colpa di Duke Calley, un agente corrotto) Poke Jackson torna cinque anni dopo nella cittadina texana in cui vivono la moglie Mary Lee e il figlio Kevin. Duke, che nel frattempo è divenuto sceriffo ed amoreggia con Mary Lee, lo accoglie malamente, poi diventa suo nemico mortale quando questi è testimone involontario di tre omicidi politici. Avendo intuito che Duke vuole incolparlo per gli omicidi Poke si sottrae alla cattura.
