Doppio gioco (1949)
Ancora innamorato dell'ex moglie, un uomo, pur di riconquistarla, entra a far parte della banda di malviventi capeggiata dal nuovo marito della donna. Durante l'esecuzione del primo colpo si impadronisce della refurtiva e, essendo ferito, la affida alla moglie. Fatto sequestrare dal rivale mentre si trova all'ospedale, tenta di corrompere un bandito, ma inutilmente: il gangster elimina sia lui che la donna.
