Ero uno sposo di guerra (1949)
Alla fine della guerra il capitano francese Henri Rochard va in missione in Germania, presso un contingente di occupazione americano. Qui gli viene affiancato il tenente americano Catherine Gates. Tra i due nasce l'amore, coronato in breve dal matrimonio. Quando lei deve tornare in patria, lui chiede che venga applicata anche a loro la legge usata per le "spose di guerra" dei soldati americani.
