A chi potrebbe rendersi visibile oggi Dio se non al manager americano di un supermarket, sorta di moderno tempio al consumismo? Così Jerry Landers, direttore di un grande magazzino viene convocato da Dio in persona, scontento dell'andazzo preso dall'umanità nell'era dei consumi.
