Mattatoio 5 (1972)
Billy Pilgrim, un veterano della seconda guerra mondiale, si trova misteriosamente staccato dal tempo, così da poter viaggiare, impotente, dai giorni della sua infanzia a quelli della sua particolare vita su un lontano pianeta chiamato Tralfamadore, passando per la sua amara esperienza di prigioniero di guerra nella città tedesca di Dresda, sulla quale incombe l'ombra inevitabile di una tragedia indicibile.
