Seabiscuit - Un mito senza tempo (2003)
America, anni ’30. Sono gli anni della Grande depressione. Chris Howard, nonostante sia il maggior venditore di auto del Paese, ha perso ogni gioia di vivere dopo la morte del figlio in un incidente stradale. Tom Smith, ultimo cowboy in un mondo che è cambiato, non riesce ad adattarsi alla modernità. Red Pollard fa il pugile per tirare avanti, nonostante sia mezzo cieco, ma coltiva una profonda passione per i cavalli. A cambiare le loro vite arriva Seabiscuit, un cavallo figlio di un grande campione delle corse. Seabiscuit però, al contrario del padre, è un brocco, ha le gambe storte, non sembra avere altra sorte che il macello. Chris lo compra e lo fa allenare da Tom e cavalcare da Red: Seabiscuit diventa un campione contro ogni pronostico e rida un motivo per vivere ai tre.
