Christopher Walton Cooper (nato il 9 luglio 1951) è un attore americano. Ha avuto interpretazioni di supporto in diversi importanti film di Hollywood, tra cui American Beauty (1999), October Sky (1999), The Bourne Identity (2002), Seabiscuit (2003), Capote (2005), Syriana (2005), The Kingdom (2007), Where the Wild Things Are (2009), The Town (2010), The Muppets (2011), Cars 3 (2017), A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood (2019) e Piccole donne (2019). Ha inoltre interpretato lo sceriffo July Johnson nella acclamata miniserie Lonesome Dove, che divenne uno dei western di maggior successo della storia.
