Ho amato un fuorilegge (1951)
Dopo aver commesso una rapina, durante la quale il suo complice e un poliziotto sono morti, Nick Robey si rifugia in casa di Peg Dobbs, una ragazza conosciuta per caso, che gli ha dimostrato molta simpatia fin dal loro primo incontro. L'uomo incarica la ragazza di acquistare per lui un'automobile, in modo che sia possibile proseguire la fuga. Lei esegue fedelmente, ma Nick, preso dal panico (teme che la ragazza lo tradisca), decide improvvisamente di scappare. Peg, delusa e amareggiata...
