Notte senza fine (1947)
Un giovane reduce della guerra ispano-americana è tormentato da un sogno ricorrente, in cui appaiono degli speroni che danzano, e dal mistero che circonda la sua origine. Alla fine scoprirà che il sogno è un suo ricordo infantile: da bambino si trovava dietro al padre che correva da una finestra all'altra della capanna in cui era assediato dai suoi assassini. Si vendicherà e troverà il suo equilibrio.
