Avventure di un uomo invisibile (1992)

Nick, opaco uomo d'affari, rimane vittima di un inspiegabile incidente in un'industria chimica e si trasforma in un essere invisibile. La Cia affida il caso a Jenkins, il quale ha una gran voglia di metter le mani su Nick per farne uno strumento per le sue trame politiche. Ha inizio un tenace inseguimento che porta Nick (e Jenkins) nella villa di un collega in riva all'oceano, dove ottiene l'aiuto della bella Alice di cui è da tempo innamorato. Non ha la forza dirompente dei capolavori di carpenter, ma è comunque un intrattenimento godibile, con divertenti effetti speciali e una "morale" quasi didascalica sull'invisibilità come metafora dell'uomo comune.
