Love & Mercy (2015)
Melinda lavora in una concessionaria di auto. Un giorno incontra nello showroom un tipo strano che le viene presentato come Brian Wilson. L'uomo è stato il frontman nonché l'autore delle canzoni di uno dei gruppi più famosi in assoluto: i Beach Boys. I due iniziano a frequentarsi e la donna scopre così le ragioni del profondo disagio psichico che Brian sta vivendo. Hanno le loro radici in una gioventù difficile e, allo stato attuale, debbono confrontarsi con le devastanti terapie di uno psichiatra che ne è diventato il controllore assoluto.
