Seance (2001)
Junco, una medium dotata di poteri straordinari, che le permettono di vedere e ascoltare le persone defunte, sta aiutando un giovane studente di psicologia per la sua tesi. Proprio questo dono particolare, non permette alla donna di svolgere una vita normale: le visioni orribili dei morti compaiono all'improvviso e lei non può controllarle. Inoltre la gente è scettica su questo argomento, nessuno vuole crederle e questa situazione è insopportabile, a volte. Suo marito, Koji, che lavora come tecnico audio in un'azienda che produce effetti sonori, sopporta rassegnato la realtà e divide la sua vita tra sua moglie e il suo lavoro.
