Paranormal Activity (2007)
Due ragazzi, Micah e Katie, si trasferiscono in una nuova casa, nella periferia di San Diego, dove cominciano presto ad avvertire la presenza di una misteriosa entità che si manifesta soprattutto di notte e si convincono che la propria abitazione sia infestata da uno spirito malefico. Un po' per gioco, un po' per provare la sua nuova telecamera, di cui è particolarmente fiero, Micah decide di riprendere quasi tutto ciò che fanno lui e Katie, ma soprattutto di lasciare la telecamera accesa nella loro camera da letto, di notte, per verificare se effettivamente accada qualcosa mentre dormono. La presenza della videocamera sembra tuttavia scatenare un'escalation di attività paranormali e a soffrirne è soprattutto Katie, che si sente direttamente perseguitata dall'entità negativa.
