My Old Lady (2014)
L'americano Mathias arriva nella capitale francese senza un soldo in tasca, deciso a rifarsi una vita vendendo in fretta e furia l'appartamento nel Marais che ha ereditato alla morte del padre. L'appartamento, però, è occupato da Mathilde, ora novantenne, e da sua figlia Chloé, e non potrà essere di Mathias fino alla morte dell'anziana, perché così è scritto nel contratto. Come se non bastasse, Mathias dovrà pagare a Mathilde un mensile assolutamente al di fuori della sua portata, come prima di lui aveva fatto suo padre per quarant'anni. In combutta con un immobiliarista interessato, Mathias dichiara guerra all'anziana signora e alla sua viziata progenie, ma la permanenza in casa loro apre di giorno in giorno nuovi squarci sul passato di suo padre, fino a riscrivere la storia dello stesso Mathias.
