L'inarrivabile felicità (1941)
Quando sua moglie scopre il braccialetto che ha comprato per la corista Sheila Winthrop, il produttore teatrale Martin Courtland bluffa sostenendo di averlo comprato per conto del suo coreografo Bob Curtis. Bob accetta di stare al gioco, ma viene ben presto arruolato e mandato nella stessa base del ragazzo di Sheila. Quando cala il giro di affari, anche Courtland trasferisce la sua compagnia alla base, e Bob accetta la proposta di allestire un nuovo spettacolo, purché la protagonista sia Sheila. E così, Bob mette in scena un matrimonio nel quale un vero giudice sposa lui e Sheila.
