In un'isola dell'Irlanda uno scienziato nel corso di esperimenti per trovare una cura contro il cancro crea delle creature mostruose che risucchiano le ossa delle vittime. Due altri scienziati, aiutati da una ragazza, cercano di debellare la minaccia.
