Possession - Una storia romantica (2002)
Lei, Maud Bailey, sta facendo ricerche su una poetessa lesbica dell'epoca vittoriana. Lui, Roland Mitchell, studia un grande poeta dello stesso periodo. Lui scopre una lettera dell'epoca che testimonierebbe di un'improbabile relazione tra i due scrittori. I due uniscono gli sforzi e, avendo l'una la carineria della Paltrow e l'altro l'aspetto attraente di Eckhart, non solo quelli. Così l'amore del passato e quello del presente intersecano in qualche misura i loro percorsi.
