Padre Logan era stato sorpreso in compagnia di una donna sposata, prima dell'ordinazione sacerdotale, dall'avvocato Villette. Ora questi è stato derubato dal sacrestano Keller che ha agito mascherato da prete. I sospetti cadono su Logan, naturalmente, ma costui sa la verità: Keller gliel'ha rivelata, ma in confessione. Logan viene dunque processato...
