Entropy - Disordini d'amore (1999)
Protagonista del film è Jake Walsh (Stephen Dorff), regista all'esordio che racconta a noi spettatori le vicissitudini della sua opera prima e quelle parallele del suo incontro con Stella (Judith Godreche), una modella francese di cui egli subito si innamora. Dopo essersi frequentati per un breve periodo, Jake e Stella vanno a vivere insieme. Le cose precipitano quando Stella, rimasta incinta, lo annuncia a Jake. Egli, impegnato nella sua carriera di regista, non si mostra entusiasta all'idea di avere un figlio. Stella abortisce, la relazione tra i due finisce e Jake si ritrova sposato con una donna che a malapena conosce e senza rendersi conto di quello che è realmente accaduto.
