I fratelli Wilder e Wallace Foudroyant hanno avuto entrambi in dono da madre natura la capacità di suscitare il fuoco con la sola forza del pensiero. Mentre Wilder non sfrutta questa sua dote, Wallace la usa in un numero comico da circo. Quando, dopo anni di separazione, i fratelli si ritrovano, il loro rapporto fa... scintille (c'è di mezzo anche la passione di Wallace per la moglie di Wilder). Tra il fantastico e il grotteco, un film balordo con una Winger spaesata.
