L'ora delle pistole (1967)
Dopo la sparatoria all'O.K. Corral di Tombstone (26-10-1881) lo sceriffo Wyatt Earp regola i conti con i resti del clan dei Clanton. Penultimo degli 11 western di Sturges che, 10 anni dopo Sfida all'O.K. Corral (1957), riprende i prolungamenti e gli aspetti collaterali della vicenda con una secchezza e una complessità di dettagli da verbale di polizia, ridimensionando la figura eroica di Earp. Sottovalutato almeno quanto fu sopravvalutato il precedente. 2° film di Voight.
