Il ritorno del maggiolino tutto matto (1997)

Herbie è sfuggito per miracolo alla rottamazione e ora ha un nuovo proprietario, ma le cose per lui non sono assolutalmente cambiate. Infatti il maggiolino deve partecipare ancora una volta ad uno spericolato rally attraverso il deserto. Il nemico da batterte questa volta è il ricco e snob Simon Moore III che ha messo a punto una macchina infernale, chiamata Horace. La lotta per arrivare primi sarà molto dura e la corsa metterà a dura prova la tenacia di Herbie e del suo nuovo proprietario. Le avventure di Herbie sono sempre fonte di divertimento. Dean Jones, il vecchio pilota del maggiolino, fa capolino anche in questo nuovo episodio.
