Terra amata (1995)
Sudafrica: viene ucciso il figlio di un bianco e, subito viene incolpato un nero. Stephen Kumalo (Jones) è un prete di campagna che non ha mai messo piede in città. La scomparsa di sua sorella Gertrude lo costringerà a recarsi a Johannesburg. Come se non bastasse suo figlio Absalom è al momento in galera, accusato dell'omicidio del figlio di James Jarvis (Harris), un ricco e conservatore proprietario terriero.
